I need a set of new door catches for my Carron Cordon Bleu double oven. Both parts needed, striker and ball rollers.
Where do I get them?

I have sourced and fitted door catches from Hotpoint. They work a treat, although after about 4 years failed in the same way teh original ones did. I also got a griddle plate as my orginal cast iron one cracked, and this fitted fine too.

The problem with my Carron Cordon Bleu 4 Delux is that I often detect gas from the grill when in use - i.e. it makes my eyes sting. I asume this is because gas is not burning properly or something similar - does anyone know how to sort this out?

PJH has not posted a message to say whether his Hotpoint spare door catches worked on the Carron Cordon Bleu. Does he or anyone else know of a solution????

Cordon Bleu 4 cooker : I have just ordered replacement roller catches for the doors (£8.75 each) from : www.365electrical-spares.co.uk/cgi-bin/product.pl?PID=332702&query=Cannon 10455G : They are actually Hotpoint spares but supposed to fit. I will have them in a couple of days. If they are OK I will post another message here.

I've had the same problem for several years and although I've had various suppliers recommended to replace the door closures, so far none of them have been able to help. I'm on the point of, very reluctantly, getting rid of it!
