i have a toilet called ideal standard,which on the cistern
li,you have adual button for a full flush.part flush,both
buttons do not flush,but i cannot remove the lid to see the problem,any idea how i can emove the lid,the button has
a silver rin around,but i cannot see how to remove to enable me
to see inside the cistern,

Alan, depress one of the flush buttons, then you should be able to lift the other flush button out. With both buttons removed you will see the screw which retains the cistern lid! Peter
