Troy Built Gas Trimmer engine problem?

I have a Troy Built gas trimmer Model TB475SS. It's about 2 1/2 yrs old. No problems before. I went to start it just yesterday and the cord wouldn't budge. I took the spark plug out and the cord moves freely now but oil comes out of the spark plug hole. I noticed oil on the spark arrestor too. This is nut. Nothing is being made to last anymore. Any help out there?

Is this a 2 stroke trimmer? Sounds like the cylinder is hydraulicing. Meaning fluid build up is stopping the piston. Make sure your Fuel mix (if 2 stroke) is mixed properly. Take the spark plug out and pull the cord several times to get rid of the build up. Make sure your not standing in front of the Spark plug hole because you will get it on you.
