The Radio Serial Number can be found in the car`s paperwork , usually the in the Audio Manual or on on the radio casing . It should begin with M******

To remove the radio ............... There should be 4 holes in each corner. The proper extractors (available cheap on Ebay ) are a pair of double prong wires with shaped ends that push into these 4 holes together and release the 4 retaining clips inside.A home made device will work using a wire coathanger(bent into a pair of wire U shapes ) or 4 small screwdrivers or allen keys. The secret is to release all 4 inner clips together (by pushing down+inwards ) and at the same time pull the radio from the dashboard. It is useful to have a helper to assist. ..A fiddly job but with a bit of patience it will work.
