while trimming evergreens and bushes I kept encountering branches too large to cut. They would stall the trimmer and cause me to remove the limb before continuing. After a number of these encounters, the blades stated making more noise and seemed not too be operating smoothly. How to I adjust the blades back to specs. Thank you.

I did the same as you. After cutting large branches, the trimmer began to make noise. I dismantle the trimmer, but see nothing special. Nothing was broken or looks like disadjusted. The trimmer seems to cut badly after the sound appear... We have a 2 year waranty with this trimmer, but I lost my bill... no luck.
