fault with ariston margherita?

when you set the machine to a cycle it stats to fill with water as normal then the drain pump starts and the main control knob starts turning. i have tried resetting as per instruction manuel , still the same . any ideas ........

can be a number of things but i would guess at pcb or eeprom look for burn marks on pcb
