centeral heat heating systems works?

but no hot water comes out of the hot tapes at all .their dry.we live in a bunglow.we have afloor standing gas boiler and in the bath room teir is a big copper tank their is no electeric thomstate on it just pipes going to boiler and to the heating and hot taps on pipe their are four red switch off tapes and one leaver tape the big copper tank get red hot but no hot water comes out of tape help

The previous answer is correct,the copper tank has a hot pipe in,inside is a heating spiral tube which transmits the heat to the water inside (there must be water in that copper tank!)This is your hot water to taps , so make sure water is going in & getting out of that tank.

Your copper cylinder is filled by a header tank (cold water) that will be in the loft space. If this tank is empty due to a faulty filling valve you'll get no hot water from the taps. Also make sure that all valves are in the open position.
