How can I remove the alternator from Ford KA '54 reg'?

I am unable to remove the wiring from the alternator and although I have managed to undo the alternator I cannot get it out of the car, to remove and replace it. There doesn't seem to be any gaps big enough to actually get it out of the car.

Finally managed it ourselves. There were some extra bolts holding the bracket underneath the alternator in place that were not easy to see or get at. Once these were undone the alternator and then the bracket finally came out.
