Sounds like the pump is not switching off. Power on/off button doesn't stop it, have to switch off at wall. Any advice anyone?

water in the base.drain the water from the base and the pump will stop running (resets anti flood switch).try it again now and see how long it works before it floods again.if your lucky it could be ages.if not then you have a leak and it needs to be found and corrected.
