the only name I can find on my boiler is heatline. My hot water and central heating stopped working and the pressure started to rise. I switched off my boiler thinking this would lower the pressure but it has not worked and it has even increased slightly.

Can anyone tell me how I can lower the pressure ?

turn off your mains stopcock does it drop then ?
and check your filling loop is fully closed or disconnect it as it should be.
