The starter mechanism has stuck and I cant pull rope to start?

When attempting to start the SOVERIGN strimmer, I pulle the starter rope a few times and on the 10th. attempt the the rope recoiled and I cant pult it out again to start the machine.

Can you remove the cowling that covers the recoil start and have a peek inside by taking some screws out? Chances are the rope has wound back over itself if it won't budge at all.
