how can I add a light to a bandsaw to show that it is running?

i need to buy a light which will show when a wood working bandsaw is running for deaf person safety

you could upgrade to high frequency light fittings over the saw

Just connect a bulb holder to the two wires going to the bandsaw motor, then when the motor is running the bulb will be "ON"
