I have a durabrand model bh2004d help?

I can't get it off of video have bought two differrent universal remotes and still nothing seems to work.The red power light also stays on even with the tv off.

Check your Remote that came with the TV.....open battery compartment.....Check Positive wire that touches Positive end of Battery alignment....it is probably bent or broken....YOU CAN OPEN(SPLIT) REMOTE AT SEAM AND STRAIGHTEN IT
