how can i fix the front windscreen wipers on my ford galaxy?

the wipers are very slow and more frequently they are just stopping midway through when they are on a wipe and on fast they are only going very slow. i do not know wether it is the wiper motor

Common fault with wiper motor. Eventually the wipers will completely fail. Beware when purchasing a used motor (could be as faulty as your current one).

Not a cheap solution to this as I have experienced!
