How do i fix the lens on my cyber-shot 7.2?? The lens only comes out 1/3 of the way then makes a horrible grinding noise like the cogs aren't connecting or something. Can this be fixed within the price bracket of buying a new one?? It broke a little while ago and because it wouldn't open i pulled the lens out now its decided to fix itself less the bit i pulled out.

I reckon it will be too expensive to repair....but since you knackered it, why don't u just take it to bits & try to line up the lens ? I recommend (if u have another camera/camera fone) that u take pics as u go along carefully dismantling it,so u can see how to put it back together.
