Kenwood dishwasher KDW12ST3A E1 fault - I understand - is due to a drop in water inlet pressure. I was sweating that I might have to take the whole thing apart or change feeds etc..but I think the fault arose on this occasion due to people leaning against the dishwasher, when congregating in the kitchen, which in turn put pressure on the water pipes at the back of the machine...pulled the machine out an inch or two and now it seems to be working!!

Sounds a bit basic but the machine is quite deep and I don't think the inlets are protected particularly well.

Good luck!

check inlet water solenoid, tap lightly, (make sure power is switched off) worked for me.

fault E1 in manual states no inlet pressure. sometimes fault code shows if machine takes too long to fill. check for blockage in inlet pipe.

water inlet not filling.check if the water outlet valve is opening and there is suffecient water pressure
