i have just had a factory fitted cassette radio replaced with a kenwood kdc-w3541g in my sons clio which is a 99 model. It has steering wheel function that my son was not botherd about keeping he just wanted cd/mp3/ipod, It's not working, it's blowing fuses.The factory fitted 1 does not seem to rely on the fuse for its power is it something to do with the cable for the steering function/help please.

Sounds like you've got a wiring problem. Try removing the deck again and unplugging the unit, if it still blows you've got a bad or loose connection somewhere, if it doesn't you've got a problem with your wiring
