Noisy Ferroli Combination Boiler?

PLEASE HELP! WE HAVE A VERY NOISY OPTIMAX 31 COMBINATION BOILER. IT MAKES A THUDDING SOUND WHEN IT REACHES TEMPERATURE AND FERROLI CANT FIX IT. THE BOILER RUNS ON LPG AND THE SOUND LASTS FOR AROUND 2 SECONDS AND CAN BE VERY LOUD! THANKS
