Having read the answer drop it onto the carpet. I gave mine a bash from underneath. I did not think it would work but I was very happy when it worked. Thanks.

Try anothre tape, if that does not work try dropping it from 50cm onto a carpet. Perhaps 1 meter drop onto a carpet - worked for me
