I have a 12.5 HP 38" Yard Machine that stops when hot?

I bought a 12.5 HP 38" Yard Machine from a private party so I don't have a manual. When it gets hot it quits running. I took off the air shroud and found a huge mouse nest which I cleaned out. The mower starts but quits after about 15 minutes. I suspect a bad coil from being overheated. Can you tell me what coil part # I need to replace it? Thanks.

Before u do,go to an electriclal componant supplier, radio shack or maplins, and buy a can of freez spray.this stuff will freeze componants so much the have frost on them.Trade use it for finding electrical componant heat related opon circuits.Blast the coil with it and see if it'll start.Great stuff, cost's less than a couple of beer's.But your problem could be:valves too tight, cracked cyl head, carb to head gasket.blocked air filter.partial siezure.or any combination.Buy a cheap compression tester and check reading's when cold and when hot.
