i have a homelite xl chainsaw that is 29 years old and still running quite well but the sprocket is at the poiint that it needs to be replaced. can anyone offer some directions?

Here's a webpage you can use to find Diagram of engine! just click on Parts lookup then select Homelite Consumer Products as OEM and type in Correct Model Number for your XL as there are many!
