Chain adjuster slide bar how does it come off and can I get a new one made from a black hardened plastic or similar

Chain bars are easily available - Amazon sell a 16" Oregon bar for £16 including delivery

On my similar chainsaw I remove the cover on the right to remove and clean the chain bar
