I have it all apart can I just oil it and what kind of oil and reassemble. when you lift the tea pot after winding the base it just seems to go so slow like water got into into it.
Buy a can of 3in1,bicycle shops sell it,or sewing machine oil,put it on the spindles and leave it a while to soak in,try it a few times before you re-assemble it.
