freezer leak into fridge-worth fixing? Whirlpool ET18PKXGW ?
Whirlpool ET18PKXGW leaks 1-2 times a day (cycle?). drain blocked? condensor broken? unit is 10 yrs old & seems in otherwise good condition, is it worth $200-$500 (quoted phone estimate) to fix it? or better to buy new one? cannot move appliance by myself, cannot get to back to unplug from electricity. ice cube maker never bought/installed. last few months the fridge had been accumulating water at bottom and in crisper drawers - but not leaking directly from freezer into fridge. so tried turning off freezer compartment for 18 hrs. now leaks water directly from holes above top shelf of fridge (assume this is from freezer). i use containers to catch drippping water, water in containers starts to freeze.
