The Tv guide on my thompson 160gb digital reciever does not work?

When i switch on the digibox the guide does not work, when i use the arrows to navigate where it is supposted to show the now and next it is just blank. Any advice with this would be great.

Happens to mine now and then.switch it to standby(red light) overnight seems to cure it.
