Radio Code for 1998 Renault Scenic Megane?

Please can anyone help an damsel in distress, my radio went of when my immobiliser key went, the garage said they didn't know the code to re-set it. (very helpful guys not) can anyone help me please!

Thanks PJ I tried that one they were less than helpful probably because I didn't buy it from them. They told me to take the radio out and look for the code. Well tried that too and it won't come out. One very frustrated female!

PJ Thanks for your reply. They were less than helpful told me I needed to remove the radio and see if there is a code on it. Car was bought privately orginal owner doesn't have any docs on it. Chasis number I do have but don't know where to go from here.

If you phone your local renault dealership they will tell you if you still have the original radio and the chassis number.
