How can I fix my Diplomat multifunction single oven APl 3301?

My seven year old oven has been well behaved until very recently when I find that when I try to use the fan oven setting, I get no heat from the elements although the fan works. When switched to either single or double element heat the elements heat correctly. Any ideas on what might be wrong?
Also, the timer alarm has decreased in volume to a tiny 'squeak' -is there a graduated volume function I've switched over by mistake?
I'm basically trying to find out if it's work repairing.

There is a separate element for use with the fan oven. We have just had the same thing happen. Replace the element at the back of the oven. It's quite simple to do.

Hi Jono,it will only be the fan element and they are £27 plus vat and postage and they can be changed from the front. As for the time, press the minute minder button, put on 1 minute. When it bleeps, press the minus button and there are 3 settings. All the best
