Treadmill wont start?

My treadmill has stopped working I put the power on and the keypad goes on but it won't let me set it to a programme and I can't get it to do anything with the buttons so my belt is not moving the keys on my carl lewis MOTC1 light up but the programe buttons won't activate the belt
