Zanussi cycle indicator is loose and cannot determine where the cycles are?

I recently replaced the knob on my Zanussi FL1085 and since then I have been unable to find correct programmes as the plastic trim on the cycle indicator is loose and does not move with the dial.What do I need to do ? Thanks

I have the same issue. The cycle indicator has been loose since we moved into our flat, so we have no way of knowing which cycle is being selected. If someone could say which selection letter the knob points at then it'd be a lot easier than getting a complicated fix. Cheers

you need to replace the inner knob or cam by the sound of it or you have assembled it incorrectly
