Cab Tilt indicator Does it stop the engine starting?

When I turn on my Iveco 715 it sometimes fails to start and I followed your answer to Joe 2008 re the exite wire and it did indeed start however the tilt indicator seems to want to light up when I tried to start and again it seemed to be dead. I tried to start the box yesterday and the glow light and battery light were the only indicators and it started 1st time but this morning the tilt light came on as well and there was nothing - help

i used to work on these vehicles and they have a problem wth the cxab lock system wiring. if u look on the o/s/r of the cab theres u a black plate with around six m6 bolts used to hold it on. take this off and this will give u access to between the cab and interior panels of the cab. put ur hand inside and reach towards the center of the panel. there u should find a plug with 2 wires on it . chop these wires and connect them together and this over rides the cab lock warning and in turn the start inhibit system. BUT BE CAREFUL IF THE CAB IS UP THE LIGHT WONT COME ON SO MAKE SURE ITS LOCKED IN PROPERLY WHEN PUTTING IT DOWN.

when lowering cab -keep pumping untill resistance is felt ie wont pump anymore,if still faulty check out switch wiring to cab lock mech [under cab on lock assy.]
