How can it be fixed?

My elderly mother has a free standing Thorn M54 boiler which is approximately 35 years old. It works extremely well except that during the past 12 months the pilot light goes out from time to time without warning. We have had the pilot jets cleaned and replaced the gas valve but the pilot light still proves unreliable. Can you help please?

pilot lights were a problem on these. parts are hard to come by , you can try heatmerchants for spares but they may say they are obselete. i wouldn't waste any more money on it
