help. i have a cannon camberley cooker and the top is an oven and a grill. However recently the dial will turn left to put the oven on but wont turn right to put the grill on. we have tried taking off the nob and using plyers but still doesnt work. does anybody know what could be wrong. thanks

I have the exact same model of oven which had the exact same fault!
Gently try & prise the knob forward using a big flat screwdriver behind the plastic -(quite stiff) . Remove & clean the plastic collar behind .Clean off any gunk. Next give the knob-shaft a small dose of Wd40 or penetrating oil . Try & ease the knob back and forward a bit at a time . I gently used a pair of mulgrips and it soon came free.

Sounds like you will need to get a Corgi Engineer in as it will require the complete removal of the oven/grill tap to either repair or replace it.
