how to wire switch from spur?

To use a wall light I have added a fused spur to the socket ring main. How do i then the wire a switch between the 13a fused and the light. Do I just connect the live wire through switch and "bypass" the switch for the neutral?

first you have to change the fuse to a 5amp and then wire directly through a double pole switch as you shouldnt run a neutral through a switch and doing it this way will switch the neutral.
