how do you charge a town & country booster mobility scooter?

An elderly lady with whom I have been working closely has a town and country booster mobility scooter but does not have the manual. We are not sure how to charge it and for how long? Please help this is her only forms of escape from her home.

There should be a socket on the tiller (the steering bit!), which is a three pin socket. If it's not there it will be at the rear near the batteries. If and when you find it put the 3 pin plug on the charger in first before you connect the charger to the mains and disconnect from the mains first before the plug from the scooter when charging is finished. You should charge the scooter for at least 10 hours(over night). Even if you only use it for half an hour during the day, let the charger run its cycle.
Hope this helps. If your still stuck give me a ring. Mobility Linx Ltd. 01524 832413.
