Countax c300 will not move?

Hi. I have just bought a 2nd hand countax c300. The dealership discovered in their pre-sale check that a bracket was faulty and the belt kept coming off. I've used it for 15 minutes and now it will not move either forwards or in reverse. Is this the same belt bracket fault?

Depends what belt came off! It it's the transmission belt, that would account for no mobement.
