The control panel switch is not working and I can't get the washer to behave I have to keep switching it off then being really really quick to press the wash cycle button

I had baumatic bdw11 with exactly the same problem, it is caused by water activating the anti flood switch, witch on a bdw11 is located inside the chassis towards the front, remove the plastic panels and mop any water up this should cure the problem, SWITCH THE POWER OFF FIRST, alternatively tilt the machine so that any water flows away, incidently holding the P button and the pressing the power switch takes the machine into engineer mode.
