HOW DO I REMOVE THE CD RADIO FROM MY NISSAN MICRA K12?

The factory fitted CD Radio on my 2004 Nissan Micra 1.4 SE is complete junk. The MW reception is so bad that it either seems out of tune or the suppression circuits have packed in. I want to replace it with a better system but can see no way to remove it. Grateful for any advice.

The best instructions I have found are here:

Hi,
You can remove it by unscrewing the two bottom screws underneath the CD plyer (above the heater control buttons) and two on top behind the computer display. In the meantime you need to take off the upper half of the dashbord because there is one bolt behind the dash which holds the CD player brackets. You can take of the upper dash cover from two sides near the A-post. I hope it helps. It is quite complicated.

If your radio has the four standard holes (DIN ) then instructions can be found here on how to remove using the proper extractors and aternatives.
