one of the alrm units on the outside won't stop going?

My alarm seams to be working fine other than one of the outside boxes is omitting a low volume but constant whirring sound, even when I silence the alarm.
How can I stop it Please ?

sounds like a faulty bell ,you could open up the bell box and cut the cable to the sounder, or replace the full bell box,sorry
