MY FOOT PEDAL FOR JL100 SEWING MACHINE HAS BROKEN?

MY FOOT PEDAL FOR MY JOHN LEWIS JL100 SEWING MACHINE HAS BROKNE, I THINK THAT MY SON HAS STOOD ON IT AND IT HAS COMPLETELY SNAPPED. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I GET IT REPLACED QUICKLY AS I MA MAKING/ALTERING ITEMS FOR A WEDDING NEXT MONTH!!! I HAVE EMAILED A SITE TO SEE IF THERE IS A UNIVERSAL ONE THAT WOULD FIT AND AM WAITING FOR JOHN LEWIS TO EMAIL ME BACK TO SEE IF THEY HAVE SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Hello Nat,
You can get a universal foot control which is absolutely perfect called a YDK, very easy to fit, your machine is probably made by Brother, you can get foot controls from any sewing machine dealer, just ask for the make above, if you go through John Lewis you will pay at least twice as much and you will probably have to wait ages.
