Why does the fabric feed not advance fabric?

Had numerous broken gears. Wife is making drapes and now wants to send machine to shop. I've replaced gears but I have a timing issue now. Don't want to admit defeat..How do I set timing. Thanks for y ... more

The Fabric feed dog does not advance. What is possibly wrong and how can I determine and fix it.

Reverse button looks like it sticks out further than before. Makes a few stitches forward then goes backward then forward. How can I try to fix this? All stiches are in about a one inch line before it ... more

The gear I replaced is a verteral shaft toward the front of the machine. The needle bottoms out, and will not finish it's cycle. Thanks, to all who reply
