What is wrong witth my Zanussi Fridge Freezer?

Left door slightly ajar when I went on holiday for a fortnight. Came back and fridge section doesn't appear to be working now. Though I can faintly hear a whine start up when I close the door and stop when it opens.
More faint than the noise I used to hear.

over icing in the back due to you leaving the door open.switch off for 24hrs with both doors left open and manually defrost system.restart and close doors after 24hrs and hopefully it will work ok again
