how old is my Maytag washer, Model LAT 8204 AAE?
It seems to have trouble doing a spin in the regular cycle. I can get a spin out of the other cycle, but it is very short. Is it possible that some inner switch is worn out and can be replaced by me at home?
I washed a load of towels on hot w/ cold rinse. When I thought it was done, the towels were hot & more wet than usual. So I tried to do just a cold rinse & spin and it when I returned the washer was full of water.

My maytag washermachine model LAT8506AAE has a water leak in the water seal I suposse just right on top of the transmition shaft
or on the bottom of the water drum

I need to know how to take it out and fix it
