New Home 693 sewing machine. The inner wheel won't turn. Is it supposed to? Please can you help? I have
no instruction booklet.

In the middle of your balance wheel there is a stop motion wheel, hold the balance wheel and turn the stop motion wheel towards you and it will stop the needle from moving up and down, you can e-mail me for a list of sites for manuals.
