I have lost my Installation CD?

I am 62 and new to computers. I need help. I have a Lexmark X2470 Printer which I use with a HP Laptop. My computer crashed and I lost everything. I have searched for the Installation CD to configure the printer back to the laptop but no luck. Can I buy another CD or can it be done without it ? Or do I have to buy a new Printer in order to get an Installation programme. Any advice welcomed.
