How can I fix my Rover 75 CDTi ECU?

My Rover 75 suffered water ingress into the ECU over the summer. I dried it out and it worked but it has started to play up and cuts out now and again can this be fixed without paying the dealership prices of £1000?

Fixing them is almost impossible especially if has got wet. The electronics will almost be knackered. Try location one from a scrap yard or other source.
