Can my Nintendo DS lite be fixed?

My nintendo DS lite top screen isn't working. It is just a lot of different coloured lines. The bottom screen is still working fine. Is it easy to fit a new screen?

This is a very simple repair if you know what youre doing, however if youre not sure i can replace the screen for a total of £25 which includes return postage.
