I want to replace the handle and plate on the front door, however there are no visible screws on either the inside or outside plate. There is a small alum screw in the handle but removing this does not seem to have any effect on the removal of the plate or the handle. I can remove the lock quite easily.

there should be screws on inside but may have to pry the plate off first,use a slotted screwdriver and gently push it into the gab between door and handle and gently pry the handle away from door and should start to move,take plate off and should see the screws.hope this helps
