Drivers door lock not working?

I have a 1995 Merceded C220 and when I try to lock/unlock the driver door with the key it does nothing. In order to lock/unlock the car, I have to use the passanger or trunk locks...any suggestions to this problem?

If it's central locking and the key goes in and turns ok then it could be a fault on the solenoid for that lock situated in most cases in the door. Also check with class'y cars you may find that each door motor has it's own fuse on the fuse board. Only a suggestion by the same problem with my Ford Mondeo which was the solenoid.
