I have an olympus mju 400 I'm getting no card error?

I have just brought a new Li-10b battery, which is the battery compatable for my camera. Having just put it into the camera I'm now getting a no card error. How can I fix this?

pull out the card and on it there will be a small switch push it down then back up again
