Baxi Combi Boiler 105HE hot water but no heating?

I recently turned on the heating due to a drop in the temperature and heating having been off during te summer. I had left the switch on water and heating and had the therostat as low as it would go. When I put the thermostat to a higher temperature setting I go the click at about 14degrees but the boiler did not fire up, therefore no hot radiators. Have I omitted to do something or is there a fault?

I am having the same problem now. The symptoms I have is that The heating is working fine, but I am getting no hot water out of the taps.

I started to have the problem, and when i put the hot water on, it would take ages for the water to come through hot, i think that the thermostat was faulty, but eventually it was working ok, then after about 2 days it took approx 30 mins of constant flowing water for warm water to come through. now, I cant get any hot water out what so ever.

Has any one got any ideas why this is happeneing?

Many Thanks

wireless thermostat wich is batteries operated. i dont think it the thermostat works fine what ever we set the thermostat eg the triger tep for the heating to come one dont work. the heating just suddenly stoped working. eg stab in dark. could be somthing with the sencer in the bolier that picking up the reading from the wireless thermostat. it dosent matter how meny time i restet the boiler. or the wireless thermostat and replace batteries. and the cople plamber and repair man have no idea

if you have a mechanical timer, make sure its on constant, (i) if it is, try putting it on timer and flicking the pins out, as the mechanical timers do fail in the constant position.

or you could link timer out totally at its wiring connections to 100% rule it out

what thermostat do you have??? wireless?? batteries???????
